Overall good experience, the sushi was good, we loved some of the rolls we ordered, some of them were just okay. The service was good. Ambiance was also nice and relaxing. overall good experience, might return next time in Pasadena.
First time trying Sushi Enya because it's highly recommended by the birthday girl. There was a short wait since we have a party of 9, and it was worth the wait. Located right in Old Town Pasadena, this restaurant is definitely a gem. I want to thank our beautiful server for the night, she was super friendly and had a beautiful smile on her face all night. She was super attentive and helpful, which is always a PLUS when it comes to happy dining. All the sushi were super fresh and again melts in the mouth. The uni were from Hokkaido and it was so flavorful and I can take the water with that perfect salted taste. If you leave be sushi, you would know what I meant exactly. We wanted to order more but they ran out already. Take note, place order right away if you want more than one piece. The price is a bit on the steep side, but it's well worth it. The seared halibut was so perfected seared and with the Yuzu sauce, taste of heaven. Basically everything on the Menu is amazing. Be sure to give Sushi Enya a try if you are in old town pasadena. Thanks again to our beautiful waitress for the night.
It was pretty packed when we got here. We waited few minutes outside and then people started leaving and finally, we were seated towards the back. We started off with the veggies tempura appetizer, and the spicy tuna crispy rice, but that didn't come out until the very end and until I had reminded them. But the 3 types of sushi we ordered were all delicious and enough for three people, they were the yuzu roll, tiger crunch and the snowcrab california roll. We did try the halibut capaccio sashimi recommended by our server, which came in 6 pieces. Everything was fresh, had beautiful presentations and delicious!! Our server checked up on us frequently to make sure everything was good and if we had wanted to order more. I think what we ordered was enough for 3 people, I had ordered the calamari at the end, but was full and took the rest to my brother. Thanks Sushi Enya team for the great service, delicious fresh sushi and memorable time. We'll be back to try others on the menu.

Must be quality. Wasn't a long wait. Go for the belly they said. Buttery texture. Toro soft as silk, Enya's flavor mastery, Wallet light as air. -Haikus by me.

Good vibes instantly Cucumber salad ; not your basic cucumber salad, this one has octopus and seaweed beautifully made and tastes amazing ! **Enya speciality rolls Chef #2 eel avocado Cherry blossom (no rice) : THIS ONE IS MY NEW Fave no rice sushi roll ! It was UNREAL' so flavorful and tasty THE FIRST time at a sushi restaurant I didn't wanna use any soy sauce because the sushi was already jam packed with flavor Real crab hand roll (very yummy) I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT' amazing service ! I asked my server to take a pic for me, he took like 7 lol So kind! The noise level was average, great for date night still or hangout or chill meal by yourself Anyway, 10/10 Restaurant !
